A previous study by Superdrug has pinned this number down as seven, but according to new research, it’s a little higher than that.

The study of 1,000 women in the UK – which was carried out to mark the DVD release of Bridget Jones’s Baby – found that the average British women will sleep with eight people before finally settling down – and half of these will be one night stands.
Wondering when a women tends to have these flings? The research revealed that, of the females studied, they had the majority of their sexual encounters at 22. But it’s later in life that they enjoy the best sex.
No, not quite that much older.
If you happen to be 33, congratulations, this is when women experience the most satisfying sex, apparently.
Of course, it all really comes down to individual female preference. So don’t go thinking every woman who has slept with exactly eight people is ready to marry you.
